These paintings explore movement, transition and the relationships that emerge between forms. Built through layers of translucent paint, stains, printed marks, abrasion and erasure, the works develop through a process of accumulation and revision, with earlier images partially obscured while traces remain within the surface. Forms hover between the botanical, bodily and geological, exploring the moment at which something begins to become recognisable and one form dissolves into another. The resulting paintings are spaces in flux, where boundaries remain porous and forms are continually shifting and becoming.
