Alice Macdonald (b.1992) is a London-based artist working across painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics and set design. Her intimate, diaristic paintings evolve from drawings made from observation and memory, often depicting friends, family and familiar places. Combining personal experience with storytelling and invention, she works instinctively with colour, texture and collage. Macdonald has exhibited extensively in the UK and internationally, including solo exhibitions in London and Seoul, and group exhibitions at the Royal Academy and Royal Watercolour Society. She studied at Falmouth University, the Royal Drawing School and City & Guilds of London Art School, where she received an MA with Distinction in 2023.
