Miroslav Pomichal (b.1984, Slovakia) lives and works between London and Slovakia. He studied Art History at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, graduating with First Class Honours, before completing an MFA in Fine Art with Distinction at Wimbledon College of Art. A painter and printmaker, Pomichal’s distinctive work explores structure, form and colour through a sculptural treatment of the picture plane, drawing on modernism, Expressionism and what he describes as the ‘Gothic impulse’. His work is held in the Ingram Collection of Modern British and Contemporary Art. His recent exhibitions include Control, OHSH Projects, FLOOD, Messums West, 2026, and La Madeleine de Proust, Vivienne Roberts Projects, London, 2025.
