Sharon Leahy-Clark British, b. 1965

Based at the Centre for Recent Drawing, London, [Artist] graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2001 with an MA in Fine Art Painting. She has received several awards, including the Helen Chadwick Memorial Prize, and her work is held in collections including British Airways and The Drawing Gallery. She is co-founder, with artist and art critic Sarah Kent, of Head on a Plate Projects, a collaborative drawing project. Recent exhibitions include Enjambment at the Centre for Recent Drawing, London (2025); The Discontents: Part II, Vestry Street, London (2025); If Heaven Falls, Lido Stores Gallery, Margate (2025); All the strange things, 303 Projects, Lowestoft (2024), a solo exhibition; and Enigma, Victoria Roberts Projects, London (2024), a two-person exhibition. Earlier exhibitions include Jerwood Drawing Prize, the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Sunday Times Watercolour Prize, the Derwent Drawing Prize, British Glass Biennale, Celeste Painting Prize and Creekside, APT Gallery, London. In 1996 she exhibited in Figuring Cezanne at Tate Britain and Lethaby Gallery, London. Her work has also been exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy, Royal Cambrian Academy, Royal West of England Academy, Wells Art Contemporary, White Conduit Projects, London, and Durden and Ray, Los Angeles.
