Eugenie Vronskaya is a Russian-born artist living and working between London and the Scottish Highlands. She began studying traditional icon painting techniques as a child before attending art school and university in Moscow. After moving to the UK in 1989, she became the first Russian student to enrol on the MA programme at the Royal College of Art in 1991. Vronskaya was invited by Sir Anthony Caro to participate in the International Triangle Workshop in New York and subsequently helped organise workshops across Africa. Her work is held in major public and private collections, including Tate Britain, the V&A, the Pushkin Museum and the State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow. She has regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and, in 2024, held a major solo exhibition at Messums West.
